166th Brigade

The 166th Brigade is located in Misrata in western Libya. There is also a 166th Brigade in General Haftar's Libyan Arab Armed Forces or LAAF located in eastern Libya. The 166th Brigade is reported to be led by Al-Hisan. The "Battalion 166" is affiliated with the Debeibeh Ministry of Defense.
One Twitter source reports that it is also called the "166th Protection and Security Battalion" led by Mohammed Al-Hassan. (30 Aug 2025).
